Taking Stock.  Students learn savvy investing strategies with Lori Beth Warnberg at Victoria Elementary School and Mary Yazvec at Holy Family Catholic High School in Victoria by participating in BestPrep's Stock Market Game.  The students become familiar with researching and trading stocks through this game which simulates real life investing while teaching math, social studies, and reading.  Students participate in a competition where they invest a virtual $100,000 in common stocks over a 15-week period.  Each team of students receives a daily portfolio update on their current holdings, interest, and brokerage fees.  The top three teams in each division are recognized at BestPrep's awards ceremony at the conclusion of the program.
