To the Editor: Please note our change of address. Happy Holidays. Keep up your Great Gazette. Had a good sheephead game this afternoon with my Uncle Ed Vanderlinde. Marie Neutgens Norwood Young America, Minnesota
To the Editor: I want to send a special thank you to my family, relatives, friends, neighbors, and whoever remembered me in any way with prayers, flowers, gifts, visits, cards, food, etc., while I was in the hospital and for therapy for my surgery. Thank you all for everything. Thank you so much, Sue. You do a great job with the Gazette. Beatrice Mechtel, Victoria, Minnesota
To the Editor: Just want to thank you for including District #112 Parent Alliance for Special Education announcement in your paper. Appreciate you getting it in last month on such quick notice. I'm wondering how much it would cost to do a little boxed in ad in your paper. We are co-sponsoring an event with PACER Center on December 4th and would like it to stand out if possible. Thanks. Susan Thoen, via e-mail
To the Editor: Tante Frannie and Uncle Ray Schmieg look pretty sporty on that snow-mobile, which would come in handy for quick trips to the convenience store for moo juice for the brood of 13 kids and umpteen grandkids. Meanwhile, 2001 is fading away. It was quite a year, ending on sour news in the world. We'll get those ragheads. Shove them in the mailbox on page 4 of your last Gazette and jab their hinder with the fishhook. Merry Christmas, everyone. Kay Meuwissen, Chaska, Minnesota
To the Editor: I enjoyed "touring" Cross in the Woods via your link to Sue's Album at www.VictoriaGazette.com. Although I've never visited the State of Michigan, I know the friars Father Harry and now Brother Thom transferred there from here at Quincy University. I'm sure the friars on the mailing list enjoy your link also. Jack Hardest, OFM, Quincy, Illinois
To the Editor: Thank you for your wonderful coverage of the Wendelin Grimm farm. Your photos and text in Sue's Album of your website are a delight to view and read. It's no wonder your paper and website are treasured by so many in the community and beyond. Sincerely, Dawn Sommers, Hennepin Parks
To the Editor: Thank you for posting the wonderful Grimm Farm photos on your website. Our staff enjoyed them immensely. Your newspaper and website are a tremendous asset to the community. Nancy Lauseng, Hennepin Parks
To the Editor: Thanks for the pictures of The Cross in the Woods. I believe Father Elstan was also at Chaska for a number of years. Father Evan Eckhoff, OFM, via em-mail
To the Editor: Great work on the Grimm photos. Uncle Ron Holtmeier, Victoria, Minnesota
To the Editor: Thanks for the great web page. I've been around the world on the Web through these last years and your site so far is way and above anything I have come across. But then, being done by "Sue" ... who would expect less? Blessings. Grandpa Howard Wigfield, Shakopee, Minnesota
To the Editor: We, too, enjoyed the Children's Home Social gathering and Korean dinner in Eden Prairie that Holtmeiers mentioned in your paper. Our daughter in law Barb makes all those foods, including kimchee for Jared and Jenna, their two children, and their dad Tom. We love it all. It was a beautiful evening of dance with our Jenna as one of the lovely dancers. As an extra treat, I met a school chum from early years in Brainerd High School, serving with Ron and Harriet Holtmeier, gracious volunteers who reintroduced us. What a night! I also looked at "Sue's Album" on your website and enjoyed it again. It was fun seeing where Father Elstan is at The Cross in the Woods, and the beautiful area. Thanks, Sue, for sharing. Loretta Kocka Victoria, Minnesota
