To the Editor:
Hi, Sue.  The residents of Victoria and adjoining counties and residents were fortunate to have you print the Declaration of Independence in the July issue of the Gazette.  Its meaning made the day better for many, I'm sure.  Thank you.

To the Editor:
I read in the last Gazette about the next blood drive in Victoria but didn't write down the date, and our new puppy chewed up the paper.  When you get a minute, can you please email me and let me know when it is and where?  It was in your letter to the editor section, I think.  Thank you.

To the Editor:
The newly created Senior Commis-sion would like to meet with you to hope-fully have an article published in the August edition of the Victoria Gazette about the goals of the group and the survey that is being worked on.  If this is possible, please let me know when this could be arranged.  The individuals who would like to meet with you would be myself, Steve Sarvi, Dave Lindgren, Pete Crawford, and Maureen Schneider.  Thank you.

To the Editor:
That was an outstanding photo of Stieger Lake in your July edition of the Gazette.  You will be getting a call from Jo Mihelich regarding the photo.  She just moved into the Wensmann building here in Victoria and wants information on your panoramic photo.  Talk soon.

To the Editor:
Hi, Sue.  I was reading my July Minnesota Valley Co-Op News, which was formerly REA, or our rural electric association.  They have a special section looking for former members because they have had capital credit dividend checks for 1987 returned to them because of im-proper address.
I noted that one of the names they are trying to locate, or heirs of that member, are Norman and Vera Orsen of Minneota.  The Co-Op is requesting that you call or write them.
Marlene and I knew we could get a message to you and Allan through the Gazette as we've been faithful subscribers since Andrew and Helen Christianson gave us a gift subscription years ago.  We look faithfully for the fishhook each month and enjoy reading about your family.
Hope you can connect with REA and get your check.

To the Editor:
Enclosed is my $10 to pay for the paper I ordered for Mark Theis.  Thank you.

To the Editor:
Thank you for the great photo of Stieger Lake in the July issue of the Victoria Gazette.  Many residents here at the condos in Victoria inquired if the original would be available to make prints.  Please let me know.  Wensmann Homnes would be happy to make prints for residents.  We appreciate your wonderful Gazette.
Sincerely,
Jeanne Millet

To the Editor:
It's our third anniversary since we began receiving your paper.  During that time our son got married and now we have a couple of wonderful grandkids.  Talk about good luck!  One always hopes the best for their children, and we believe our son certainly found good and nice people in his wife and her family.
With that said, we think we will subscribe to the Gazette for another three years!  Life is good, as the saying goes.  Thanks for all your hard work.  Enclosed is $20 for each of the three years.

To the Editor:
I am doing some research on a build-ing in Victoria that was built around 1926.  Do you know of any newspapers that existed in Victoria at that time and up to when the Gazette was first published in 1979?  Thank you for your help.
