To the Editor: Just love the Gazette. I read it cover to cover. Can't wait for it each month. Chet and Lorna Kraus Chaska, Minnesota
To the Editor: Thank you, Sue. I enjoy reading the articles in your publication. It's so re-freshing compared to the Star Trib. Corie Boyer Excelsior, Minnesota
To the Editor: March is the best month of all. I was born on March 28th, 1922. Florian Kerber Chaska, Minnesota
To the Editor: Nice to see you at the Victoria City Council meeting last night. My interest was in the snowmobile situation. I see lots of infractions on County Road 11 in our area, where they drive down the middle of the road and way into Carver Park. I guess when I see bad things hap-penning, I will just alert the Sheriff's Office so they are aware of what is going on, not that they can be all over at the same time. I really enjoyed your last issue of the Gazette with all the animals. We have an eight-point buck eating from our bird feeders. Also, we have had an opossum who likes to eat bird food too. I deeply appreciate the publicity you have given to the Moravian Church's 550th birthday. Harriet and I will be attending festivities to mark the occasion in Appleton, Wisconsin. Our daughter Pam and her husband, The Rev. Rich Thierolf, served at a Moravian Church near there, so it will be great to see some of the folks that we have not seen in over 15 years. We plan on having lunch with one family that we keep up with via emails. The enclosed $30 check is for our renewal to the Gazette and also please send a subscription to the Rev. Lorenz Adam at Waconia. Thank you. Ron Holtmeier Victoria, Minnesota
To the Editor: What a great little BIG newspaper you have! We enjoy it so much and read it from cover to cover. It is the best pub-lication in the seven-county metro area. Love all your articles on the area people and the occasional mention of Ray and Frannie Schmieg. Ray did all of our re-modeling many years ago and we haven't changed it since. You are such a joy to the community. Rick and Kathy Brose Waconia, Minnesota
To the Editor: Happy spring and hope it stays like this. The snow will melt away and soon we'll see the green grass. As I page through the Gazette, I see the Fish Fry at St. Joseph Parish Center ad, and that isn't all! I also see the fishhook on the fish's mouth, a perfect place to hide it. Keep up your great Gazette. Many blessings. Marie Otten Waconia, Minnesota
To the Editor: I would like to renew our subscrip-tion to the Victoria Gazette. We enjoy it very much. Our daughter is Carol Vadnais of Victoria, who sometimes writes for your paper. Enclosed is $15. Thank you. Janis Whittemore Glenwood, Minnesota
To the Editor: Thanks once again for an interesting "From the Editor" article in the March issue of the Gazette. One likes to turn there first to see what is on the editor's mind each month when the new Gazette comes out. I noticed in that column your refer-ence to the film on Katrina shown at the Omnitheater in February. Having just come back from two weeks working with reconstruction in New Orleans, I learned that there is a powerful presentation on the hurricane and aftermath scheduled for Faith Lutheran Church on April 16th. This show of pictures and song will be offered at Faith by Chris Driesbach, a local professional singer who is traveling the country, thanking his fellow Christians for their support in rebuilding their church and in helping their members rebuild their lives after Katrina. Perhaps you and some of your readers may be interested in viewing this great educational and entertaining event also. It's at 7 p.m. Rev. Arnold Lemke Chanhassen, Minnesota
EDITOR'S NOTE: Faith Lutheran Church is located on Hwy 5 at Minne-washta Boulevard and lies within the boundaries of the City of Victoria! Thanks for writing, Pastor Lemke.
