Victoria Community ExpoThe Victoria Chamber of Commerce and the City of Victoria are planning the 2006 Victoria Community Expo on Saturday, April 22nd, at the Victoria Field House from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.  The Expo will spotlight area businesses, organiza-tions, churches, municipalities, and schools to other businesses and the public.

Open House.  Holy Family Catholic High School in Victoria will host its 2006 Spring Open House on Thursday, April 6th, with presentations beginning at 6:30 p.m.  This is a great chance to learn more about the curriculum, extra-curricular activities and student life at our school.
Frank Miley, president, and Kathleen Brown, principal, will address families.  Representatives of various activities will be available.  The building will be open for touring and interaction with teachers and students.  Don't miss this great opportunity to learn more about Catholic education in your area.

The Art Of …  The sidewalks, streets, and restaurants of Waconia are the venue for the newest style of arts celebration on Saturday, June 24th.  The event will feature artists from an array of creative disciplines selling their works and doing what they do. 
Painters will paint, sketchers will sketch, sculptors will sculpt, potters will throw, photographers will click, thespians will act, dancers will dance, singers will sing, bands will jam, fiddlers will fiddle, jugglers will juggle, magicians will make sad faces glad.  The Art Of … includes cooking, wine and chocolate making and tasting, poetry writing, quilting, weaving, knitting, beading, clothing design, fen shui, sidewalk chalk art, interior design ... everything … including the Kitchen Sync!

Victoria Lions meet the second and fourth Wednesday of each month at the Victoria Hall on Rose Street at 6:30 p.m.

Victoria Chamber of Commerce meets on an irregular basis.

Victoria Senior Citizens meet weekly on Thursdays at the Acorn House in Diethelm Park.

Victoria City Council meets on the second and fourth Thursday of each month at 6:30 p.m. at the Victoria Hall on Rose Street.  There are also special council meetings and workshops scheduled throughout the year.

Victoria American Legion meets monthly.  Established in 1995.  Call Dan Steinhagen, Carver County Veterans Officer, for more information.

Victoria Toastmasters meet the second and fourth Thursdays at 7 p.m.
