Letters to the Editor

To the Editor:
In regard to the school district, Ron says to keep up the good work and "give 'em hell."  Better not print that.  We really do appreciate you keeping us up to date on everything.  In regard to that "nasty" flyer from Jim Paulsen last month, where are they coming from? I did not see anything wrong or nasty.  It was just the facts.  What are we supposed to do -- lie down and let them walk all over us?
Thanks again.
Love,
Bonnie Fritz, Victoria, Minnesota

To the Editor:
I hope you get your school, but it looks like Chaska has its spurs on and is digging in.  (Bad metaphor?)  Any-how, keep up the good fight, and your always amusing writings.   Found the fishhook again.  Couldn't find it last month, but my husband graciously showed it to me.
Doris LeGault, Mound, Minnesota

To the Editor:
Keep fighting for that school.  I am 77 years old now, and my children had to go to three different schools and it is still going on.  Chaska should not get by with this as everybody's tax money is paying for these schools, not only Chaska's money.
Margie Ries, Mound, Minnesota

To the Editor:
There are a lot of new people who have found Victoria, and it's getting so that the folks I knew and grew up with are becoming fewer and fewer.  When I come to visit my family every summer, my little hometown has changed dramatically.  It's a lovely place.  Thank you for helping me keep in touch.
Diana Gramith, Naples, Florida

To the Editor:
Have been reading your paper from front page to back page with acute interest in your frustrating efforts to help your most important assets for the future, your children.  God bless your efforts in whatever path you choose.
Glen and Joycelyn Reus, Pine River, Minnesota

To the Editor:
Thanks for another great year of the Gazette.  Spent some time in Texas and was glad to get "the rest of the story" on the new school issue when we got back.  Thanks again.
Shirley Schuster, Carver, Minnesota

To the Editor:
I enjoy the Gazette!  David and I made our first home, after we married, in Victoria.  He worked at the DX Station and Paul Hartmann was his boss.  Had many friends there at the time.  Still know Bud and Irene.  Bud was our best man in November of 1945.  Long time ago, but I have good memories.  David died in July of 1998.
Enclosed is $10 for the Gazette.  It's the only way I have of finding out how you're doing.  Thanks for the good reports.  Sure hope things can be ironed out for you with that new school.
Elna Wilcox, St. Louis Park, Minnesota

To the Editor:
We really enjoy your paper and look forward to it every month.  We are following your struggle to get an elementary school in Victoria and hope that maybe it still will happen.  Keep that paper coming.  Thank you.
Marie and Roman Stumpf, Belle Plaine, Minnesota

To the Editor:
Good luck with all the growing pains you have.  We do not have that problem in Hector.  Sue, you do a good job with the paper.  I enjoy reading about my relatives and friends in Victoria.  Thank you.
Bob and Judy Schindler, Hector, Minnesota

To the Editor:
I enjoy reading the Gazette.  It's getting better all the time.  Keeps me in touch with people and places that I'm acquainted with in Minnesota.
Mary Segner, Cape Coral, Florida
