Visiting the Cathedral

We attended the 5:15 p.m. Mass at the Cathedral of Saint Paul in St. Paul the evening of Saturday, March 10th, because it is good to be surrounded sometimes by the marvel and majesty that can be envisioned by the minds and crafted at the hands of mankind and then suffused by the Spirit of God.

Every time we visit this magnificent structure, it’s as though we are being introduced for the very first time.

It’s a 40-minute drive from Victoria and well worth the trip.  As many of you most likely know, the Cathedral has remarkable historical and architectural features, not unlike St. Peter’s Basilica at the Vatican, after which it was modeled.

I took this photo of a photo near the museum in the basement level of the Cathedral.
