Our kids arrived on Thursday, morning, November 23rd, Thanksgiving Day.  Jenny and her family —husband Chris and kids Addie and Gunnar, drove from Tioga, North Dakota.  They broke up the 10-hour trip with an overnight in Alexandria. 

Nick and family — wife Jen and kids Sophie and Mia — drove from Brooklyn Park, MN, a 45 to 50-minute trip.

This is part of my turkey dinner.  The appetizers and pumpkin pie are not in the picture.

Sophie is Jenny’s godchild and so there is a special bond between them.

Sophie was wearing a boot on her right leg because she hurt her foot during physical education at school.

On Black Friday — the day after Thanksgiving — we had time to do a little shopping for Addie and Gunnar at Eden Prairie Center.  Addie will be 15 on January 21st.

Gunnar will be 13 on December 21st.  Two teenagers in the family!
