One of the most wonderful events that has occurred in the City of Victoria in recent times is the Summer Concert in the Park Series, held each Wednesday evening at Lions Park in Victoria.

Hundreds of families come to enjoy the free concerts throughout the summer including Tim and Peggy Kaufhold of Victoria and their children Breanna and Timothy.

Victoria Mayor Mary Thun of Victoria and Sophia only have eyes for each other.  Dave Thun, husband of the mayor and also friendly to Sophia, doesn't seem to mind.

Dean and Kari Breitback of Victoria with son Rexton, 6 months old, arrived at Lions Park with Kari's parents Ken and Kathy Leukam visiting from Sauk Centre.

Summer concert evenings at Lions Park in Victoria are spectacular from every angle.

Christopher, 3, and Elizabeth, 16 months, are the children of Steve, pictured, and Margie Fuchs of Victoria.  Hi, neighbor!

The community is invited to bring their own lawn chairs or their own blankets and anything else that makes them comfortable for the relaxing and entertaining evening.  The editor of the Victoria Gazette mainly brings her camera as she stops by to visit young and old and in-between.
