Sprucing Dow;n Our Yard

It was back in October of 2008 that we had 13 Colorado Blue Spruce planted in our backyard..  They were gorgeous and we loved them for ten years, mainly because they were impressive each winter with strings of Christmas tree lights.

They seemed to have acquired a virus plus they suffered the unending appetite of the deer in Carver Park, our next door neighbor.  Our beautiful trees became misshaped because of the bites taken out of them, and they grew tall and spindly — most likely because there wasn’t enough sun.  They no longer spruced up our yard.

And so we made the decision to get rid of them in April 2019 and called Chad Gatz at 1-800-CUT-TREE

It took Chad and his helper one hour to cut down and chip the 13 trees and another hour to rout out the stumps.
