When Nick and his babies Sophie and Mia came to visit on Sunday, June 24th, Sophie spied something in our garage she hadn’t seen before, and she knew just what it was: “A scooter.” In no time at all she was scooting around like a pro.

Sophie wanted me to chase around to the backyard with her. “C’mon, Grandma Sue,” she says. “C’mon!”

Sophie wanted to see our firepit.

She said, “Turn it on,” Grandma Sue. “Turn it on.”

This is what Sophie did when I asked her to smile nice for the camera. She is quite a character unto her own.
