Bud Olson, elected Sheriff of Carver County in 1998, was re-elected twice more and decided in 2010 to not seek a fourth term, retiring in December 2010. |

The former Bob Hedtke home on Schutz Lake was demolished in 2010 after the property was purchased by the Three Rivers Park District. It’s now in the midst of a large tree planting program. |

The former Kirsch Beer Warehouse adjacent to Victoria City Offices was demolished in 2010 after it was purchased by the City of Victoria. The space now gives additional public parking. |
