In Memory of Randy Miller

Randy Miller arrived in Victoria in November 2006.  Ten years later, in November 2016, Randy wasn’t feeling well.  He was diagnosed with cancer and died May 8th, 2017.  His death is a large loss to Victoria and most certainly to all who knew him and called him friend.  Over these past ten years, Randy and I were often at the same events in Victoria.  As usual, I’m always taking pictures. 

May 22nd, 2008.  Becoming informed at a City of Victoria Open House on a proposal for improving the Hwy 5 Corridor.

August 27th, 2011.  Volunteering to sit in the Dunk Tank at the Victoria Volksfest.

September 24th, 2011.  Ensuring that vendors are in place at Discover Victoria Day.

October 28th, 2013.  Visiting with Lori Anderson, President of the Southwest Metro Chamber of Commerce, at a Victoria City Council meeting.

December 7th, 2013.  Joining festivities with Santa Claus at Christmas in Downtown Victoria.

June 11th, 2014.  Selling hats at a Classic Car Nigh with Lion Laura O’Neill and Connie Beneke, citizen volunteer

July 22nd, 2014.  Serving at the going away party for Community Development Director Holly Kreft at the Victoria House.
