Mom’s 90th birthday was Monday, January 16th, 2017.  On that very day we had a birthday party at KB’s, which is a restaurant, bar, and dance hall at home in downtown Ghent.  In the “old days,” KB’s was Ted’s Bar and Don’s Ballroom.

“Happy 90th, Birthday, Betty Ann.”

KB’s is known for its delicious pizza and chicken wings.  As you can see, KB’s opened up its dance hall just for our family.

Little Devyn Claeys got in the picture with her great grandparents.

Barb, Nancy, and Susan got in the picture with their mother.

The brothers Paul, Louie, and Bernie joined us.  Brother Matt, who lives down in Dallas, TX, is missing.

Four of my brother Bernie’s 13 grandchildren, Devyn, Ivory, Vance, and Olivia Claeys, (the children of Jake and Bridget).

Brother Louie, nephew Jake (son of Bernie), sister in law Margene (Bernie’s wife), and Allan.

Jake and his family live less than five miles from Ghent.
