Hanging Out at Nick’s

Daughter Jenny and the kids (Addie and Gunnar) arrived on the train from Tioga on Friday, March 20th, 2009, to visit us for the weekend.  Their first stop by taxi was Nick’s house where Grandma Sue was going to be babysitting Sophia for the day.

Nick was still home when they arrived so early in the morning from the train station.

Jen arrived home from work that day around 3:30 p.m.

It seems most of the time we were talking to Sophie and make her laugh, which is pretty easy to do.

Grandma Sue also watched Gunnar do cartwheels in Nick’s office.

Grandma Sue made supper because Nick and Jen were gone most of the day.  The salmon and shrimp were delicious.  Yes, it was a Friday in Lent.

Sophie got to eat, too.

Gunnar and Addie took turns holding their little cousin.

Then Daddy Nick got her again.

Sophie really smiled for her Aunt Jenny.

Gunnar got a turn at being hugged too.

Then it was Grandpa Al’s turn.
