We needed to replace our deck and Allan wanted to do the job and, as in the past, he retained the services of our Favorite Son. Allan and Nick began to tear apart the old deck on August 29th. The tearing apart took ten straight hours that Saturday. You’ll see that Grandma Sue got to watch Sophie while the guys played carpenter. Only working on this project intermittently, they finished the deck (except for the skirting) in mid October. The season’s first snowfall was already upon us. And then, when we got that beautiful first weather week of November, Allan put on the deck skirt. Project done! |
