Most people do not see the hundreds of homes that circle the shores of Lake Minnetonka because they're shielded from the road by landscaping and private drives.  But those who spend time boating on Lake Minnetonka get a view from the backyard waters that are not so private.  The following photos exhibit but a few homes on the shoreline, a very small sampling actually.  Some are modest; some are not.  Altogether they tell a story about a special lake, part of which lies in the City of Victoria.  They will not be identified in any other manner.  And most of them do not appear very level in my pictures because the waves kept moving the boat and camera … and me.
