Captivating Spring Colors

We visited our next door neighbor, the MN Landscape Arboretum, on a beautiful spring day in May 2010 and my camera only captured some of the color and none of the fragrance.  It reminded us of the Keukenhof Gardens in Holland.

From a distance we got a bird’s eye view of the Big Building being constructed by Patrick Dougherty.

From close up, we saw the saplings and twigs being curled and bent to form the Big Building.

The completed Big Building is available at the Arboretum for viewing and visiting for several months.
