A Touch of Tioga

Every day we stopped at Jenny’s coffee shop for a treat.  Jenny has several employees who work for her.

I took this picture of the coffee shop through the window of Jenny’s Suburban as we drove by with our coffee treats.

The large logo decal (designed by Jenny) on the shop‘s front window was a Christmas gift from me and Allan.

Thanks for the great drinks, Jenny.

Chris’ office is also located in downtown Tioga — which is only a mile from their home in the country.

Chris also set up and owns a water business in downtown Tioga, where he sells water to people in the oil drilling business.  It takes millions of gallons of water to drill an oil well.

A couple years ago, Chris designed and had constructed a Car Wash in downtown Tioga.  It’s the best car wash for miles around and was sorely needed with all the gravel roads in the area.

Chris sold part of his property for the construction of a nearby hotel, partly visible on the left.  This time I didn’t take pictures of the high school, the grade school, the hospital, the swimming pool, the drug store, the hardware store, etc., etc.

Gunnar often drives his four-wheeler, pulling a fishing boat, to the dam in downtown Tioga for a couple hours of fishing with friends.

Tioga is now in the process of constructing a large community center.

Four train tracks traverse the city limits of Tioga.

Oil rigs are visible in every direction from Tioga.

And also canola fields.

Thank you, Jenny and Chris, for a touch of Tioga.
