A Tiny Glimpse of New in Victoria

The year 2017 saw the most robust startup ever of new (or expanded) businesses in Victoria.  The Enki Building is now home to Enki Brewing, American Classic Ballroom, Victoria Rose Floral, and Snap Fitness.  Only yesterday it was known as the HEI Building, an electronic workshop with no retail commerce.

If parking is a problem on Main Street Victoria, it is not a problem at the Enki Building.

The Notermann Building, owned by Hartman Communities, is now home to Ruby’s Roost Bakery & Coffee and Winnie Lu.

The Mainstreet Building is home to The Parlour Salon & Spa, Willa June Apparel & Home, Seek Eye Care, White Birch House, and The Noble Lion.  The building replaced the old Victoria Café and Ruth Johnson home.

The backside of the Mainstreet Building opens unto the Rose Street Parking Lot.

The year 2017 saw the strongest market for new homes in Victoria since the 2008 Recession.

New neighborhoods are under construction everywhere.

On the north side there is Hawks Point on Lake Minnetonka and Waterford Landing on Schutz Lake.

On the south side area several new neighborhoods adjacent to Lake Wassermann.

On the west side are new families making Carl Krey Lake their new home.  Some homes centrally located are not near a lake.  In the city’s downtown business district, Victoria Flats is making available 80 brand new apartment homes.

On the east side of Victoria are new villas and townhomes.
