Holy Family Catholic High School in Victoria held its Spirit of Fire fundraiser on Saturday, March 31st, 2001.  The evening was a gala event that included a live auction, silent auction, live music and dancing.  Fine dining included Spinach Salad with Raspberry Vinaigrette, Baked Chicken Encroutte, Minnesota Wild Rice Pilaf, Green Beans Amandine, Corn O'Brien, Assorted Dessert Miniatures, Chardonnary and Merlot.  A good time was had by all.

Holy Family Catholic High School, located at  8101 Kochia Lane, first opened its doors to students in the fall of 2001.

Are some meetings by chance?  Allan Orsen of Victoria, right, came upon fellow Wayzata Rotarian Bert Grant and his wife Kathy shortly after arriving at the fundraiser.

First order of the evening was inspecting the hundreds of items donated for the Silent Auction.  That's Nan Emmer of Victoria smiling for the camera.

In choosing bid items, guests were called to make significant decisions for themselves, their kids, their friends.  Tony Haddad of Victoria didn't mind spending all his money for Holy Family.

The weather was warm and wonderful inside the large gymnasium of Holy Family.   That's Paul Douglas, TV weatherman, front and center.  On our left are James and Raeann Curran.  On our right are Al Bill, VP for Development at Holy Family, and Mrs. Paul Douglas.

Paul Stauffacher, President of Holy Family, spread his congenial self to the delight of guests.  He's visiting here with Michele Helgen.

Kathleen Brown, far right,  Principal at Holy Family, visits with Brian & Kris McManamin.

This is only a sampling of the many Holy Family students who helped with various tasks throughout the evening.  Thank you, students, for your courtesy.

Members of the Victoria Lions tended to hospitality during the event.  That's Irene and Pete Kerber of Victoria and their son Brad on the left, and Lion Kurt Zuppke on the right.

Alice and Morrie Leuthner of Excelsior (and the St. Victoria Catholic Church) enjoyed each other as much as the evening.
