Nick and His Girls

On Saturday, May 29th, Allan snapped a couple  pictures of Nick and his family, at my request, before he and Nick headed out to see a Minnesota Twins game at the new Target Field in Minneapolis.  I stayed home with the Gazette.  Jen stayed home with her babies.

Hi, Nick, Jen, Sophie, and Mia.

Nick’s season tickets are on the 3rd baseline, ten rows from the field.  Allan took this photo of Nick and his friend Todd before the game when seats were still filling up.  It was a sellout game.  Total seating capacity is 39,500.

The Twins beat the Texas Rangers 8-3.  Target Field features one of the closest seating bowls to the playing field in all of Major League Baseball.

The ballpark features a 360-degree open main concourses giving fans an uninterrupted view of the playing field.

When you go to buy a brat or a beer, you don’t miss any of the game because there’s open viewing everywhere.

And there are over 400 restrooms so you never have to wait in line.

Allan said he walked up to the third terrace level to get the large panorama that shows the huge scoreboard on the left along with the Minneapolis skyline and much of the stadium.
