Merry Christmas-2004

Christmas this year began at the Mall of America.

Addie did not want to get close to Santa Claus.

And so we all stayed on the safe side of the fence.

Since Gunnar was born on December 21st, and his Grandma Sue got the flu on December 24th, we finally celebrated Christmas on December 29th.

Addie made herself comfortable at Grandma and Grandpa's house.

Everybody else relaxed with a few snacks and a glass of wine.

Christmas tradition has come to mean Swedish meatballs and mashed potatoes and gravy.

Addie got to open one present while her mommy was nursing Gunnar.

And then everyone got into the swing of things.  Uncle Nick will probably not hang the mounted antlers above his fireplace.

Addie played the little elf, handing out presents until it was her turn.

One of her favorite presents was a red robe from Grandma and Grandpa.

It takes longer to wrap presents than open them.

A few more snacks before the ride back to Maple Grove for Nick, and jammies for Addie before the ride back to Northfield.

And more hugs and holds for the littlest babe at Christmas time.  Merry Christmas, everyone.

The End

Love, Sue
